	13/11/00 - In a star-spangled night at Planit 2000, NBV Leisure picked up the award for best ski industry partner, from Richard Carrick, Managing Director Airtours Holidays, topping off a great year for Europe's fastest growing catered chalet operator. The setting was all you would expect from Airtours, The Holiday- Makers; set around a treasure island theme with Caribbean and Hawaiian dancers, pirates and samba bands, the prestigious Airtours Awards saw twenty of Airtour's 15,000 overseas suppliers rewarded for excellent service. Most of the awards went to established hotel and tourism industry players; the award given to NBV Leisure was all the more remarkable, as it is the only one given to suppliers in the ski industry. Our reporters quoted the managing director, Adam Walsh, as saying, 'it's a pleasure doing business with them (Airtours) and we'll be back next year!'. 27/11/00 - NBV Leisure get down to the serious business of preparing for a busy season with a series of training courses for all their staff. With over 125 staff to train before the start of the winter season with 4 courses being run in La Tania in the 3 Valleys. Particular emphasis is placed on hygiene and safety and customer service. 'We have grown very quickly, and you don't sustain organic growth without excellent service and conscientious staff', says Corinne Carroll, NBV Leisure's Catering Division Manager. 19/01/01 - Abtof choose NBV Leisure to provide hospitality facilities at the 'Vive La France' Exhibition. NBV Leisure were present at the UK's premier French lifestyle exhibition at Olympia, providing refreshments and hospitality for Abtof member exhibitors at the Abtof Lounge at the entrance to the French Holiday Village; with most exhibitors rushed off their feet with visitors, NBV's swift and friendly service was much appreciated. 31/01/01 - The Grand Ski took place for the first time in Grenoble, France; considered by many to be the premier Ski Salon for industry professionals. NBV Leisure was again present to meet both suppliers and partners, in its bid to cement symbiotic working relationships within the trade. New contacts were made, and the seeds of innovation sown, as new tour-operators from across Europe became familiar with NBV's range of services. 12/03/01 - NBV wins the Plate competition in the Natives/TMC Workers challenge. After a shaky start, and a timely substitution with 7 year old Chloe Whalley taking the all important first leg, the NBV Team won the final 4 races of this inaugural Worker's Challenge which took place in La Tania, in front of a wild home crowd. Prize-giving was at the Ski Lodge; celebrations going on into the early hours. 13/06/01- NBV Leisure have been brought in to provide catering services for the Panorama Ski programme, based in the resorts of Alpe d'Huez and Les 2 Alpes. Panorama Ski have increased their chalet programme enormously, and saw the opportunity to consolidate this expansion via a partnership with NBV Leisure, whose experience will help support and develop the programme. After a few years of talks, NBV Leisure have persuaded Erna Low, the bastion of the self-catered holiday to the French Alps, to offer a catered product from next winter. Completely flexible, holiday-makers have the choice of booking their apartment self-catered or catered: supplements are very reasonable, and NBV Leisure are also offering a Nanny service. Finally, as a real innovation, showing that despite their many years in the business, they are still at sharp edge, Erna Low will also be offering, for the first time, NBV Leisure's breakthrough concept EasyMeals; a welcome pack that lasts the week, with all your meals, and delivered to your door. 18/06/01- NBV Leisure and Airtours in talks to set up operation in Austria and Switzerland. After 4 years working together, Airtours have asked NBV Leisure to look at the possibility of setting up catering operations in Austria and Switzerland for them, to be in place in time for this winter season. Ski France sold more holidays than ever before, and NBV Leisure recruited a number of new staff for the winter season. 01/12/01 - Pre-season training NBV are once more ensconced in the resort of La Tania to train up to 200 staff before the winter season. For the first year, we are also training staff to operate in Austria and Switzerland. 02/02/02 - Ticketsinadvance 1000th Customer Partners ticketsinadvance.com clock up their 1000th customer of the season. Facilitating the booking and payment of ski extras on-line, saving the customer time in resort, and saving customers money. 24/04/02 - Season's over After a fairly lack-lustre time from a snow point of view, it ended up as a pretty successful 5 months. Most customers ended up with good skiing conditions thanks often to the huge investment that France's top ski resorts have been making in artificial snow-making equipment. 20/06/02 - NBV provide resort nanny service for Erna Low and Lotus Supertravel. Both of these respected companies have chosen NBV Leisure to provide their in-resort nanny services. 20/04/03 - NBV signs up a new en-suite chalet in La Plagne just 50m from the slopes; this will be available for customers to book as from June with our tour operator partner Ski France. 26/04/03 - NBV's tour operator partner Ski France finishes the season with carryings 20% up on previous year. 01/05/03 - NBV moves it's UK operation to Bromley, sharing offices with it's tour operator partner Ski France. 05/05/03 - Another season over, and the only real news is that NBV Leisure continued to grow, handling over 25.000 passengers, mainly in France. 12/05/03 - NBV signs up a 3 brand new 4* chalets in Val Thorens for next winter season. These chalets are ski-in/ski-out just by the Teleski du Retour, and 2 minutes walk from the centre. These will be available for customers to book as from June through our tour operator partner Ski France.[Project postponed for 1 year due to owner building permission issues] 07/07/03 - NBV signs up Chalet Chardon in Méribel, a good quality 3* chalet, well-placed just 300m from the tourist offce; sleeps 26 in 13 en-suite rooms, large lounge dining area with fireplace and great views over the valley.
